We're a small independent team that built YouTube to MP3 Converter because we wanted our favorite songs, mixes and podcasts on hand even when the signal drops. Here's who we are, how the tool works and what we promise every visitor.

How our YouTube to MP3 converter works
Paste a YouTube link into the box on the home page and tap the button. Regular watch links, short youtu.be links, Shorts, mobile links and YouTube Music links all work. The tool looks the video up live and shows you its title, length and the available qualities.
For audio, you can choose MP3 at 320, 256, 192, 128 or 64 kbps. Higher bitrates sound fuller on good headphones, while lower ones make smaller files for a phone that's short on space. If you'd rather keep the picture, MP4 video is available in the same tool from 144p up to 1080p Full HD, with sound included and the file size shown before you tap.
Your choice opens in a new browser tab straight from YouTube's video servers. If your phone starts playing it, save it from the browser menu or with a long-press and Download. On a computer, right-click and choose Save video as. Long videos are fine, too, so full albums, DJ sets and podcast episodes all work.
Our promises: free, simple and private
These are the commitments we hold ourselves to, and they shape every decision we make about the site.
- Free to use, with no account, sign-up or payment required.
- Nothing to install: it runs in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook.
- No stored files: we fetch video details and links live for each visitor and never save them, host no media and keep no download history.
- Clear about limits: private, age-restricted, members-only, removed or region-blocked videos may not work, live streams that are still running can't be saved, and a playlist link saves only the one video it points to.
- Open about tracking: we use Google Analytics and cookies for anonymous visit statistics, and Cloudflare for hosting and security.
