These terms explain the simple ground rules for using YouTube to MP3 Converter, the free tool for saving YouTube audio as MP3 and video as MP4. We have kept them short and in plain words so you know exactly where you stand before you save your next song, podcast or workout mix.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using YouTube to MP3 Converter, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
You also confirm that you are old enough to accept these terms where you live, or that a parent or guardian has agreed to them on your behalf.
What the Service Does
You paste a YouTube link, which can be a normal watch link, a youtu.be link, a Short, a mobile link or a YouTube Music link. The tool then looks up the video live and shows its title, length and the available qualities. You can choose MP3 audio at 320, 256, 192, 128 or 64 kbps, or MP4 video from 144p up to 1080p, with sound included.
When you tap a quality, the file opens directly in a new browser tab from YouTube's own video servers. We don't host, store or keep copies of any files, and we don't save the links or video details you look up. The service is free, needs no account, and works in a modern browser without any app or extension.
Personal, Non-Commercial Use
This tool is meant for personal use, such as keeping a lecture for your commute, listening to your own recordings offline or saving a podcast you have permission to keep. You may not use it as part of a business, a paid product or any commercial service without our written permission.
Copyright and Your Responsibility
Music and videos on YouTube belong to their creators and rights holders. You are fully responsible for what you choose to save and for how you use it afterward.
Please only download content that falls into one of these groups:
- Videos and audio you created or own yourself
- Works in the public domain
- Content released under a licence that allows downloading, such as certain Creative Commons licences
- Content the rights holder has clearly allowed you to save
Respecting YouTube's Rules
YouTube has its own terms of service, and they apply to how you use its content. Saving copyrighted songs, albums or shows without permission may break those terms and the law in your country. When in doubt, don't download it, and support artists through official channels.
Things You Must Not Do
To keep the tool working well for everyone, you agree not to:
- Send automated or mass requests using bots, scripts or scrapers
- Try to overload, disrupt, hack or get around the security of the site
- Use the service to break any law or infringe anyone's rights
- Resell, rebrand, frame or offer the service as your own
- Share or distribute files you don't have the right to share
No Affiliation with YouTube or Google
YouTube to MP3 Converter is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. YouTube and related names are trademarks of their respective owners and appear here only to describe what the tool works with.
Third-Party Content and Services
Every video, song and podcast you find through the tool comes from YouTube and its uploaders, not from us. We don't control that content and aren't responsible for its accuracy, legality or quality.
The site also relies on outside services, including Cloudflare for hosting and security and Google Analytics for anonymous visit statistics. Their own terms and policies apply to those services. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
Our Own Content and Design
The text, layout, design and graphics of this site belong to YouTube to MP3 Converter. You are welcome to link to our pages, but please don't copy, republish or reuse our content or design without permission.
No Warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or that every video will work.
Some videos simply can't be saved. This includes private, age-restricted, members-only, removed or region-blocked videos, as well as live streams that are still running. For a playlist link, only the single video in that link is processed. File availability and quality also depend on YouTube, which can change at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, YouTube to MP3 Converter and the people behind it are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or being unable to use, the site. This includes lost data, device problems and claims related to content you chose to download. Your use of the tool is at your own risk.
Changes and Availability of the Service
We may update, pause, limit or stop any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. Features, formats and supported link types may change as YouTube changes. We may also block access for anyone who misuses the site or ignores these terms.
Copyright Complaints
We respect creators and rights holders. Because we don't host any files, there's nothing stored on our side to remove. If you believe the tool is being used to infringe your rights, though, please tell us and we will look into it promptly.
Send your details through our Contact page, including:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The work you own and the YouTube link involved
- A short explanation of the issue
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time, for example when the tool gains new features or the law changes. The updated version will appear on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, it means you accept the new terms.
If you have a question about these terms or need to raise a concern, reach out to us anytime through our Contact page.
