Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

You came here to save a song, a podcast or a workout mix, not to hand over your personal life, and we built YouTube to MP3 Converter with that in mind. This page explains in plain words what information touches our site, what happens to it and what choices you have.

Overview

YouTube to MP3 Converter is a free tool that turns a YouTube link into an MP3 or MP4 file you can save for offline listening or watching. You don't need an account, and there's nothing to install. Because of how the tool works, we handle very little information about you.

This policy covers the website and the converter on it. It does not cover YouTube, Google or any other service you reach through your own browser. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.

What We Do Not Collect

Some things are simply not part of how this site works. We never ask for them, so we never have them.

  • No account, username or password: there is no sign-up at all.
  • No stored audio or video files: the site hosts no files, and nothing you download passes through storage on our side.
  • No download history: we keep no record of which songs, podcasts or videos you looked up or saved.
  • No payment details: the tool is free, so there's nothing to bill.

The Video Link You Paste

When you paste a YouTube link and tap the button, the link is sent so the tool can look up that video live and show you its title, length and the available MP3 and MP4 qualities. That's the only thing the link is used for.

The link is used once, for your request, and is never saved. The video details and download links are fetched fresh for each visitor and are not kept afterward. When you tap a quality, the file opens in a new browser tab directly from YouTube's video servers, not from ours.

Information Collected Automatically

Like nearly every website, ours is reached through a hosting and security provider. We use Cloudflare, which keeps standard technical logs when someone visits a web page. These logs typically include:

  • your IP address
  • your browser type and device information
  • the date and time of the request
  • the page that was requested

Why Those Technical Logs Exist

This information is used to keep the site running smoothly, to protect it against abuse, attacks and automated traffic, and to fix problems when something breaks. We don't use it to build a profile of you or to figure out what you listen to, and we don't sell it.

Google Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand, in general terms, how people use the site: how many visits we get, which pages are popular, and which devices and browsers people use. These are anonymous statistics that help us make the YouTube to MP3 tool easier to use. Google Analytics relies on cookies, which are small text files stored by your browser.

You stay in control. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers also let you block cookies from specific sites. You can also install Google's official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which stops Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits on any website. The converter keeps working normally if you block or delete cookies.

Messages Sent Through the Contact Form

If you write to us through the Contact page, we receive whatever you choose to include, such as your name, your email address and your message. We use that information only to read and answer your message. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share your message with anyone for marketing.

Third-Party Services

A few outside services are involved in making the site work. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy.

  • YouTube and Google: the source of the video information and of the files themselves. When you open a download, your browser connects directly to YouTube's video servers.
  • Cloudflare: hosting and security for the site, including the technical logs described above.
  • Google Analytics: anonymous visit statistics, using cookies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information through the contact form, please let us know through the Contact page and we will delete it.

Data Security

The best protection is not holding data in the first place, which is why we don't store links, files or download history. For the small amount of information that does exist, such as hosting logs and contact messages, we rely on reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect it. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep what we handle to a minimum.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. To use any of them, send us a request through the Contact page and tell us what you'd like us to do. We'll reply as soon as we reasonably can. Keep in mind that because we don't keep accounts, links or download history, there's often nothing on our side tied to you personally.

  • Access: ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to fix information that is wrong.
  • Deletion: ask us to erase information, such as a message you sent us.
  • Objection: object to how we use your information, including for analytics.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the site changes, if we add or replace a service, or if the law requires it. When that happens, we'll post the new version on this page. Checking back now and then is the easiest way to stay informed about how your privacy is protected while you use YouTube to MP3 Converter.

If anything here is unclear or you have a question about your privacy, reach out to us through the Contact page and we'll be glad to help.
